In her first solo exhibition in Italy, Ella Littwitz presents a body of work that investigates political, social, and cultural landscapes.
Through reconfiguration, appropriation, and transformation of elements connected to the land, she explores the human impulse to create sovereign ideologies—drawing boundaries, defining frontiers, and at times shaping nature itself.
Focusing on Israel, Littwitz examines a region where religions, geographies, and histories intersect, and where myth, belief, and transformative events converge. Her work engages both biblical and contemporary narratives, offering reflections on transition, transfiguration, and the ways political constructs are shaped through acts of belief.
